Mechanical Maintenance Technician
2 nd Shift Direct Hire
Auburn Hills, MI
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on Cold header machines, slotting machines, pointing machines, and thread rollers.
- Perform preventative and general facilities maintenance
- Use standard and special maintenance/repair tools including, but not limited to; hand tools, saws, drills, cutting devices, grinding tools, measuring devices, etc.
- Work with an attitude toward continuous improvement with a team approach to problem-solving and decision making.
- Prioritize and assign jobs, monitor yield variances.
- Ensure that appropriate records, instructions, and prints are maintained.
- Follow schedules, procedures and 6S housekeeping practices and hold responsibility for the quality of own work
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent
- Experience in electrical, machinery/equipment, and facilities maintenance.
- Experience with maintenance on header machines highly preferred
